North American Stainless Steel

North American Stainless Steel built a new steel processing facility in Ghent, Kentucky, to serve the automotive, construction, utility, and engineered products industries across North America. Over 10 years, Baker worked on more than 55 contracts to support the cutting-edge facility, performing concrete work for multiple buildings.

Baker’s scope included foundations, pits, trenches, pads, aprons, basement foundations, pile caps, slab on grade, slab on metal decks, walls, columns, and shear walls. We also installed tie beams in multiple buildings, including the grinder stacks, coil storage, lime silo, mill, and operations building.

North American Stainless served as the owner and the general contractor (GC) for a majority of the contracts.
