Another Baker Win in Virginia Beach

Known for its beaches and resorts, Virginia Beach, Virginia, will soon add Atlantic Park to its list of amenities. Atlantic Park will combine places to work, live, and shop with an events venue and a state-of-the-art wave park. Baker co-workers helped build the heart of this up-and-coming destination by completing 290,000 square feet of podium decks and a parking garage for a five-level mixed-use development.

Situated between two other busy jobsites, the project’s logistics posed a challenge for all project partners. The Baker team was up to the challenge. Every co-worker took personal ownership, with project leaders setting and safely meeting target dates with high-quality work. The team further added value by mapping out an efficient flow for crews, completing their scope of work four weeks early. Through grit and ingenuity, the project team demonstrated that Baker co-workers can be counted on to deliver a win in any situation.
