Baker Construction Expands Carolinas Presence Through Acquisition of JC Building, LLC

Baker Construction has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of JC Building, LLC, a respected commercial concrete contractor headquartered in Concord, North Carolina.

The acquisition strengthens Baker’s presence in one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions while reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to investing in talented people and delivering exceptional service to its customers.

Rather than simply adding capacity, Baker identified JC Building as the type of company it wanted to welcome into the organization because of its leadership, skilled craft workforce, reputation for quality work, and shared commitment to safety, integrity, hard work, grit, and customer relationships.

As part of the transaction, Baker will assume responsibility for the completion of JC Building’s existing projects and welcome many members of the JC Building team, including its leadership team.

For customers, the transition is expected to be seamless. Existing relationships will continue while customers gain access to Baker’s resources, technical expertise, and broad range of concrete construction and related capabilities.
