Yes. Baker internships are paid and offer competitive wages. Depending on the jobsite, interns may also receive relocation or housing support, making it easier to gain valuable experience in the field without financial barriers.

Do Baker Construction internships lead to full-time jobs?
Absolutely. Baker Construction views internships as the first step in a career path. Nearly 40% of interns accept return or full-time offers, and many of our current leaders — including project engineers, superintendents, and executives — started as Baker interns. This program is designed to be a launchpad into long-term careers in construction.

What skills will I learn in a Baker Construction internship?
Baker interns gain hands-on skills in surveying, layout, carpentry, concrete placing, finishing, estimating, and safety. They also learn how project engineering and advanced construction technologies are applied on large-scale jobsites, building both technical expertise and leadership ability.

When should I apply for a construction internship?
Baker accepts applications year-round. It’s best to apply in the fall or early spring for the upcoming summer. Baker Construction recruiters visit career fairs across the country and also post roles here.

Where can I find construction internships near me?
