Project Overview
Metro Water Recovery is the largest wastewater treatment provider in the Rocky Mountain West. To improve the quality of water it treats, Metro launched a 15-year project for its water reclamation facility, which serves 1.8 million customers in the Denver region.
The scope of work included modifications to the existing south bar screen building, demolition of two grit basins and a grit pump station, construction of the south grit basins and the south grit handling building, and modifications to the grease processing building. The project was led by contractor MWH.
