Project Overview
The Sibley Proton Therapy project was 81,500 gsf, 20,070 cubic yards located at John Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. The 3-story Proton Center is comprised of 3 gantries and 1 fixed beam room. Nearly all the concrete on the project considered “Mass Concrete” due to the 5’ thick foundation and shear walls, as well as 5-13’ thick elevated decks. The Lid of the gantries were 13’ thick and had to be framed over 50’ high.
