Surf Club

The project consisted of two 13 story buildings, a condominium, and a Four Seasons Hotel with 1 level of basement parking beneath the structure. The original 1930’s structure remained and Baker built the new towers around and on top of the existing building. This project required extreme engineering feats, including hanging transfer slabs or “Sky Mats” in order to meet the clients expectations and preserve the historical Surf Club building on the ground floor. This project was completed by our Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Florida, team.
