Safety Week at Baker
This year marks the 5th anniversary of the national construction Safety Week. Baker is proud to be one of the 30 original sponsors and is excited to be a part of the 80+ construction firms participating this year! Safety Week aims to inspire everyone in the construction industry to be leaders in safety. During the week of May 7-11, national and global construction firms join forces to raise awareness of the industry’s commitment to eliminating injuries. We celebrate our co-workers and focus on the importance of safety. It’s about coming together to protect one another and making sure we get home safely every night.
This year’s theme is The Power of Safe Choices. The choices we make – the ones we recognize and those we don’t—impact our co-workers, our community and also our family and friends. This responsibility is what inspires us to always do things the right way, the safe way. Together we can create a safer, stronger industry by making safe choices.
At Baker, the Safety Week Committee has been working diligently to make this week a success. Here is a brief overview of what you can look forward to.
