Hyatt Centric – 18th and Champa

The Hyatt Centric is a 264-room, select-service hotel located in downtown Denver. The 154,298-square-foot, 15-story structure was constructed with 11 levels of Infinity Structural System on a concrete podium, with concrete slabs at level 15 and the roof.

The project’s location on a 12,344 square-foot-site in a high-density urban center required a highly detailed logistics plan to minimize disruption to the surrounding community. The construction team needed to take particular care with vibration control during foundation drilling. Contaminated soils on the site, which had served as a surface parking lot, also required remediation and proper disposal.
