Project Overview
PSEG Lawrenceburg Energy constructed a new power station in Southeast Indiana to meet the rising demand for power in the tri-state region. Fluor Daniel managed the construction project and contracted Baker to perform the $4.4 million concrete scope.
In just three months, Baker poured over 6,000 cubic yards of mass concrete for turbine foundations and eight 5-foot thick turbine generator pedestals for a 32-foot table. The scope also included two 600-CY placements. Upon completion, the new station enabled PSEG to increase power production to meet customer demand.
